Plastering in London
London’s building stock is unusually varied. A single street can include Georgian and Victorian terraces with lime plaster and lath ceilings, inter-war conversions, and modern apartments lined in plasterboard. Each needs a different approach, and much of our London work involves identifying what is behind the existing finish before choosing materials.
Many central and inner London boroughs have large conservation areas and a high proportion of listed buildings, where like-for-like materials and consents can apply.
